FlexNet Operations 2014
A user must be assigned a role with the View and Manage Configurations permission to modify configuration settings for email templates through the Administrative Console.
Emails may be sent in HTML or text format. See the FlexNet Operations Implementation Guide for instructions to customize your email templates for either format.
Note: Before changing any configuration settings in a working FlexNet Operations installation, it is advisable to export the working configuration settings. If there is a problem with the new settings, you have a backup of working settings to restore.
Tip: Email templates defined here are used system wide. However, it is also possible to specify email template settings at the license technology level. (See Creating a License Technology for details.) When email templates are not specified at the license technology level, FlexNet Operations defaults to the use of the system level template setting specified here. The system level template settings are also used for entitlements that include products based on different license technologies when the email template settings for those license technologies are in conflict.
To configure email template settings:
1. | Click Administer Operations, then System Configuration. |
2. | Click Email Template Settings to open the configuration page for email templates. |
