The following roles are available in FlexNet Operations:

Users assigned the Customer Support Representative role get the View Organizations, View Entitlements, Change Entitlement State, Update Entitlements, View Activation Specification Records (ASRs), Manual Activations, Manual Returns, Manual Repairs, Short Code Activations, Short Code Returns, Short Code Repairs, and all of the License Management and Portal permissions. |

Users assigned the Executive role get the View Organizations, View Feature Bundles, View Features, View Products, Suites, and Maintenance, View License Models, View Entitlements, View Licenses, View Transaction Keys, and View Activation Specification Records (ASRs) permissions. |

Users assigned the IT Back-Office Manager role get the View System Information, View and Manage Configurations, View Users, View Organizations, View Features, View Products, Suites, and Maintenance, View Feature Bundles, View License Models, View Entitlements, View Licenses, and View Activation Specification Records (ASRs) permissions. |

Users assigned the Operations Administrator role get the View and Manage Alerts, View System Information, View and Manage Configurations, and View Organizations permissions, and can perform all product packaging tasks and all tasks concerning Entitlements and Licenses. This role cannot be edited. |

Users assigned the Order Entry role get the View and Manage Alerts, View Organizations, View Feature Bundles, View Features, View Products, Suites, and Maintenance, View License Models, Manual Activations, Short Code Activations, and View Activation Specification Records (ASRs) permissions. They can perform all tasks concerning Entitlements (except deleting Entitlements), Licenses, and Portal. |

Portal Admin User Role |
Users assigned the Portal Admin User role get all the portal permissions to access entities linked to organizations (and child organizations) to which the user belongs, access to trusted storage licensing functionality, and the following permissions for user and organization management: The View Users, View and Manage Users, View Roles, and View and Manage Roles (user management) and View Organizations and View and Manage Organizations (organization management). In addition, the portal admin user role gets the View Features, View Feature Bundles, View License Models, Update Entitlements, Change Entitlement State, View Transaction Keys, View Activation Specification Records (ASRs), View Products, Suites, and Maintenance, Assign Product Categories, View Licenses, Return Licenses, Repair Licenses, Generate License, and Email License permissions. Naturally, portal admin users can log into the Self-Service Portal and perform all Portal tasks. |
Users assigned the Portal User role get the View Products, Suites, and Maintenance, View Licenses, Return Licenses, Generate License, and Email License permissions, and can log into the Self-Service Portal and perform all Portal tasks. |

Users assigned the Product Manager role get the View and Manage Alerts, View Organizations, View Entitlements, View Licenses and View Activation Specification Records (ASRs) permissions, and can View, Create, Update, Change State and Delete Features, Feature Bundles, Products, Suites, and Maintenance, and License Models. A Product Manager can also View, Create, Delete Transaction Keys; Create, Delete Local Trial ASRs, and Create, Delete Short Code ASRs. |

Users assigned the Sales Operations Manager role get the View and Manage Alerts, View Organizations, View Features, View Feature Bundles, and View Products, Suites and Maintenance permissions. They can perform all tasks concerning Entitlements and Licenses. They also have the View Products, Suites and Maintenance, Manual Activations, Manual Returns, Manual Repairs, Short Code Activations, Short Code Repairs, and Short Code Returns permissions. |

Users assigned the Super Administrator role get all FlexNet Operations permissions. This role cannot be edited. |
