Viewing Device History

FlexNet Operations 2014

You can view the history specific to a single device on the Manage Devices page. The View Device History page lists all the device events from the device creation, to channel partner changes, to activation requests. You can also delete events from the device history.

Note: For served client devices, FlexNet Operations also provides device usage history on a separate page. Usage history is different from device history in that usage history specifically tracks feature usage on the device. See Viewing Device Usage History for more information.

To view device history

1. On the Manage Devices page, click the tab for the type of device to view. Choose from Clients, Servers, or Served Clients.
2. Select a device from the devices list and click View > View History.

This opens the View Device History page for the selected device in a pop up window. To see the details of a specific event, click the event number of the event. (This opens a View Device Details page that shows the contents of the transaction message.)

When you are done viewing the device history, click OK to close the window. To refresh the history list, click Refresh.

To delete device history events

1. On the View Device History page, select the events you want to delete.
2. Click Delete. This opens a confirmation window asking if you want to delete the selected events.
3. Click OK to confirm the deletion.
