FlexNet Operations 2014
The configuration export utility exports all of the FlexNet configuration settings at once. Configurations are exported to a zip file that contains database, FlexNet Platform Server, Administrative Console, and application-specific settings in separate XML files. The configuration import utility uses the zip file to restore all configuration settings. A user must be assigned a role with the View and Manage Configurations permission to export configurations to a file.
To export configuration settings through the FlexNet Operations Administrative Console
| 1. | Click Administer Operations, then System Configuration. |
| 2. | Click Export to open the Export Configuration page. |
| 3. | Click Export. |
| 4. | In the File to download dialog, click Open, Save, or Cancel. |
Specify the location and file name for the zip file. By default, the configuration settings are saved to a file called flexnet_configurations.zip. It is recommended to save the file to a safe location.
