FlexNet Operations 2014
The configuration import utility uses the zip file created by the configuration export utility to restore all FlexNet configuration settings. A user must be assigned a role with the View and Manage Configurations permission to import configuration settings.
Note: Before importing configuration settings into a working FlexNet Operations installation, export the working configuration settings (without writing over the zip file you plan to import). If there is a problem with the imported settings, you have a backup of working settings to restore.
To import configuration settings through the FlexNet Operations Administrative Console:
| 1. | Click Administer Operations, then System Configuration. |
| 2. | Click Import to open the Import Configuration page. |
| 3. | Specify the zip file that contains the configuration settings to restore. |
| 4. | Click Import. |
| 5. | When the import is complete, restart the FlexNet Operations to make sure that all setting changes take effect. |
