FlexNet Operations 2014
Between standard releases of FlexNet Operations, updates become available to fix minor problems or to add enhancements. Each patch is designed to be installed on a specific version of an application module and is identified by its module, version, and patch level.

A module is a component of this FlexNet application; for example, platform or deploy. A FlexNet application consists of several modules. A patch applies to a single module. |
Version |
The version number of a module (major.minor.maintenance), for example, platform 1.5.0: A particular version of a FlexNet application consists of several modules, each module with its own identifying version number. A patch applies to a single version of a module. |
Patch Level |
An integer that identifies an update for a particular module and version: The highest-level patch for a module is the most recent patch, and it contains all previous updates for that version of the module. |
