License consolidation, or the generation of a single license file for several certificate-based or custom licenses, can be done during batch activation, or post-activation, from the Manage Licenses page. Only FlexNet certificate-based licenses, or custom licenses belonging to the same customer organization can be consolidated.

To consolidate a license, perform the following steps
| 1. | Click the Manage Licenses link. |
| 2. | Check the boxes next to the fulfillments you would like to consolidate. Ensure that these records meet the consolidation criteria. |
| 3. | Click Consolidate. One file is generated for each group of floating or nodelocked licenses on each server. |
| 4. | The consolidated license summary will be displayed in the License Summary Screen. |
| 5. | Click the Complete button to return to the Manage Licenses screen. |
